HUSKY, Healthcare for UninSured Kids and Youth

What’s New with HUSKY?

We’re going through a few changes in the HUSKY program.  Don’t worry – no one will lose health coverage due to these changes, and all benefits are staying the same.

The changes are mainly behind the scenes – but there are a few things you need to know as a HUSKY member.

1.      First, if you are enrolled in Health Net Healthy Options or Preferred One/WellCare of Connecticut, you’ll have to choose a different HUSKY health plan.  We’re ready to help you take care of this.

2.      If you are an Anthem BlueCare Family Plan or Community Health Network of Connecticut member, you do not need to do anything now.

3.      Also, we’ve made some changes in HUSKY’s prescription drug service.

Again, don’t worry -- these changes are not going to affect your HUSKY coverage and benefits.

Notices are being mailed to all HUSKY members to explain these changes.  We hope the following web links will also be helpful to you.
